New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Monday, it was said that during the President of India, BRICS would be defined as ‘building flexibility and innovation for cooperation and stability’.Speaking at the environment and global health session, PM Modi emphasized a mutual relation between planets and human health, stating: “For India, climate justice is not an alternative; it is a moral duty,” and said: “Where some people measure it in number, India remains in values.”The Prime Minister underlined the possible focus areas for India’s BRICS leadership, emphasizing preparations for unexpected situations. He said Covid-19 demonstrated how viruses disregard boundaries, and the solution should not be limited by nationality.PM Modi advocated to have equivalent future-oriented faith as developed countries for developing countries. The two-day annual summit in the coastal city of Brazil addressed various global challenges, although Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Masaud Peseshkian, and Egyptian Abdel-Fatta al-Sisi were absent.The BRICS represents an important economic block, including 11 major emerging economies that account for 49.5 percent of the global population, 40 percent of global GDP and 26 percent of global trade.The organization, which initially included Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, expanded in 2024 to welcome Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and UAE, joining Indonesia in 2025.During the chairmanship of India, PM Modi committed to maintain close cooperation in all fields, which promises to prioritize developing world concerns similar to India’s G20 Presidency approach.The July 6-7 at Rio de Janeiro was discussed at the July 6-7, 2025 Summit, discussing global rule, global south representation, peace and safety, strengthening of multiplicity, enhancing development affairs and artificial intelligence. The program included traditional family photographs, symbolizing unity among the participating nations.
