One day, the collection of calculation forms signed under special intensive amendment in Bihar touched only half a path mark, Chief Election Commissioner Dnyanesh Kumar defended the practice, saying “a pure electoral roll to strengthen democracy is inevitable”.The EC said on Tuesday that 18.2% calculation forms received in Bihar were uploaded on ECINET. About 47% forms were collected till 6 pm on Tuesday, with 10.5% in the last 24 hours. The EC said, “Maintaining the same speed, 50% remains to collect forms, exercise will be completed well in time,” the EC said.
