The proposal he had filed was in response to a legal filing by Eric Komar, former director of Dominion Voting Systems. Komar had sued Lindel, for defamation to spread the principle of a conspiracy, that he rigged elections against US President Donald Trump in elections, the USA reported as per the court order received by the USA today.A federal jury ruled in favor of Komar on 16 June, which ended the case in May 2022 against Lindel and his companies, Mipilo and Frankspych. Lindel was ordered to pay more than $ 2 million in damage.
