New Delhi: The Congress, as an important step, heard the Supreme Court on the amendment of the EC of Bihar’s election role, and hoped that the pole watchdog would accept additional documents such as Aadhaar for verification of voter.Congress General Secretary and MP KC Venugopal said, “This is a relief for democracy. The matter will now be heard on July 28. The Supreme Court has given its views through this that Aadhaar, voter ID and ration card are part of the verification process. I think the Election Commission will go with this suggestion of the Supreme Court.”Advocate-MP Abhishek Singhvi said, “Following comprehensive arguments, the Supreme Court has clearly suggested that three documents, ie Aadhaar, voter ID and ration card, are also considered in the process of calculation by EC.”“This is an important advance. All other qualifications remain open and have been given a resounder for the time and the end of July.”“On the main issue, our content is important and will be considered by the court at the latter. Those materials included the important point that the estimate of eligibility and voter registration has been reversed to all the existing voters on the electoral roll in the event of an animation suspended by the EC …” he said.
