FBI director Kash Patel is considering resigning, according to a report by Daily Wire, in an intensive dispute within the Department of Justice on dealing with the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.Daily Wire reporter Mary Margaret Olohan wrote on X, “Kash Patel says that Kash Patel also wants to run Palm Bondi, and that Bongino has to be considered.Patel’s possible resignation follows the growing speculation that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino may also step down. Bongino has allegedly told people close to him that he is thinking of leaving his post after a big clash with Attorney General Palm Bandy in the Epstein case.Media reports suggest that Patel is angry with dealing with Epstein files. Bondi is said to have not recorded much related to the case and he has told the associates to remove it from his position.According to the Daily Wire, Patel is designed to leave the FBI if Bongino resigned. Patel has publicly stated that a review of the FBI evidence has revealed that Epstein was not murdered, pushed back against the principles of conspiracy about Epstein’s death in jail.The FBI and the DOJ provoked the controversy after the release of a joint memorandum, officially shut down the Epstein case, stating that he died of suicide and there was no evidence of murder. The announcement angered several Maga commentators including FBI director Kash Patel and his deputy Dan Bongino, who refuses to accept whether there is no “customer list” of powerful persons visiting Epstein’s island or were involved in sexual trafficking of minors.Over the years, Patel and Bongino have suggested that anything else has been revealed about the Epstein case. Bondi had earlier claimed that an Epstein “client list” on his desk for reviews. However, after the case closed, Bondi clarified that she was referring to a wide set of documents related to Epstein, not a specific customer list.
