US President Donald Trump will visit a second state in the United Kingdom from 17 September to 19 September. He has formally accepted the invitation and will be organized by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle at Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.President Trump will join the First Lady Melania Trump during his visit to Trump. This is the first time an American President has been invited to visit another state. On receiving the invitation, Trump called it a “great, great honor” and expressing his excitement about staying in Windsor Castle, saying, “This is really something.”It is not customary for American presidents to get a second state trip. Traditionally, the presidents serving a second term are invited only for a tea or lunch meeting with the emperor, as the case for former Presidents George W Bush and Barack Obama.Last week, the French President Emmanuel Macron was hosted by Raja in Windsar, with a state trip at Berkshire Niwas for the first time.State visits are formal opportunities that recognize strong diplomatic relations between nations. Although the invitation is extended by the emperor, it is done on the advice of the UK government. The upcoming visit is seen as part of the Prime Minister Kir Stmper’s strategy to maintain a positive relationship with Trump and reduce the possible impact of American policies on the UK.
