A growing division in the Republican rank is emerging as US President Donald Trump exits some GOP colleagues, accusing him of committing suicide for the Democratic “promotion” around the Jeffrey Epstein scam.Trump started a controversy after criticizing MPs who want to release the files of the Department of Justice on Epstein, a pedophile that died of suicide in 2019 and has remained at the center of many conspiracy principles.
Trump turned his hand over “weak” in his party
In a post on Truth Social, Trump called these critics “weak” and said that they had fallen “hooks, line and sinkors” for a democratic-eruckstand scam. He wrote: “His new scam is what we will call Jeffrey Epstein Hocx forever, and my previous supporters bought this ‘bull *** t’, hooks, line and sinkors.” He said: “Let these weaknesses move forward and work Democrats … I do not want their support!”Trump argued that attention to Epstein distracts from his achievements. “I have probably got more success in the history of our country in 6 months than any President,” he wrote. “All these people want to talk … Is Jeffrey Epstein Hocx.”Later, speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said that Attorney General Palm Bandy could release reliable files, but criticized “some stupid and foolish Republicans” to give very difficult push. He said: “They only want to talk about that ‘Haux’. Don’t support me.”
Republicans divide on release release
The demand for transparency has received traction in the Congress. House speakers Mike Johnson, former Vice President Mike Pence and other Republicans such as senators Anna Paulina Luna and Lauren Bobert urge to publish documents related to administration.Pence told CBS News: “The time has come for the administration to release all the files regarding the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein. … whoever participates or was associated with this lowly man, he should be kept for public investigation. ,In the House, representatives Marjori Taylor Green and Thomas Massey are advancing a discharge petition to cast their votes. The effort requires 218 signature and is unlikely to proceed before the Congress rebuilding in September.
Trump Link Epstein checks for comprehensive complaints
