The agents discovered Kaldern for several days, including checking the preventive facilities throughout the region. He was eventually found in a shopping plaza parking in Bakersfield on 5 July.Despite continuing the claim that he was kidnapped, video surveillance voluntarily included Callan in a car after leaving the restaurant. The phone record also supported the conclusion that the incident was coined.Officials said that Kaldern’s family had planned a second press conference on 6 July for the Gofundme page on 6 July, increasing public donations before thwarting the Hawks. He even created fake images, suggesting that Caldon was abused during his rescue.DHS said, “Euriana Julia Pellaz Callage Callage was never arrested or kidnapped by snow or bounty huntters – this criminal illegal foreigner scamped innocent Americans for money and diverted DHS resources limited by removing the worst worst from Los Angeles communities.”DHS also criticized media outlets and public data, who had reiterated false claims without proper verification. The agency said, “Caldaran will now face justice and media and politicians, who swallowed and pushed the waste.”Gofundme confirmed that it removed the funding page and returned $ 80 which was donated. This further clarified that the organization never had access to money. A spokesman said, “We have zero tolerance for any attempt to take advantage of our platform.”If convicted, Caldaran has to face up to five years in the federal jail for each charge. The DOJ also indicated that others involved in the Hocx might have to face legal consequences.
