‘The dynamic dynamics must improve’: Zelansky seeks fresh Russia talks; Charism push urge

Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelansky announced on Saturday that Kiev proposed a new round of peace talks with Russia next week, aims to revive the efforts towards ceasefire after a previous conversation in early June. He said that the dynamics of the dialogue should improve and emphasized the need to make every effort to achieve the ceasefire.Speaking during his daily evening address, Zelansky said Rustom Umrov, Secretary, National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, has already proposed the next meeting with the Russian side for the next week, as stated by CNN.“The dynamics of the dialogue must improve. We need to make every effort to achieve a ceasefire. The Russian side should stop avoiding decisions about prisoner exchanges, return of children and ending killings, ”Zelancesi said.He said, “A meeting at the leadership level is really necessary for safe peace. Ukraine is ready for such a meeting,” he said. After two previous rounds of talks in Istanbul, the proposal comes that any has failed to achieve significant progress. While those discussions motivated the prisoner’s exchange and the bodies of the slain soldiers to return, no definite steps were taken to stop the conflict. According to the Russian state media, Russia presented strict regional demands as a condition for the ceasefire. Ukraine has made it clear that it will not accept leaving any of its areas in exchange for peace.Umrov, a former Defense Minister of Ukraine, was last appointed as the new head of the National Security and Defense Council. According to The Guardian, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of giving new pace to the conversation process and is expected to play an important role in future diplomatic efforts with Moscow.Russia has continued a heavy military aggressive with the Eastern Front in the Donnetsk region of Ukraine. It has been repeatedly stated that it is open for a new round of conversation, but has not withdrawn its strict war demands.During the previous month’s discussions, Russia presented a list of difficult situations, which included demands to leave more areas for Ukraine and prevent any Western military support from accepting.Kiev rejected these demands as unacceptable and questioned the purpose of further conversation if the Moscow was not ready to compromise. The call for fresh talks also follows the pressure from the United States. President Donald Trump gave Russia earlier this month to reach a peace agreement with Kiev or to face serious economic consequences, including high tariffs on Russian exports and “secondary tariffs” on goods from countries buying Russian oil.Trump said during a meeting with NATO General Secretary Mark Root at the Oval Office earlier this week, “If we do not make any deal in 50 days, we are doing very serious tariffs,”“I use business for a lot of things,” said Trump. “But it’s great to deal with wars.”The US President also promised to supply Kiev with new military assistance sponsored by NATO colleagues, as its cities sometimes raise Russian airstrikes.
