Tirupati Trust suspended 4 non-Hindu employees for the code of conduct

Visakhapatnam: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) on Saturday allegedly suspended four employees to practice a non-Hindu religion, causing the total number of such suspensions to five. The decision reviewed a report of the Vigilance Department of TTD, including the authorities, describing the support of “gross misconduct” as evidence of support and religious practices are incompatible with the Code of Conduct of Tirupati Temple Trust. The suspended employee is B Elizer, Deputy Executive Engineer (Quality Control); S Rosie, Staff Nurse at Berurd Hospital; M Premavati, Grade-I Pharmacist at Bird Hospital; And Dr. Yes. Assanth, on deputation at SV Ayurveda Pharmacy and former Principal of SPW Polytechnic College. According to the official memo, the employees violated the Rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964, which outlines the general standards of conduct for the government’s servants.
