Stage sets for a stormy monsoon session; Center, Opposition to face to face on Pahalgam attack, Trump’s claim: What is expected here. Bharat News

New Delhi: The monsoon session of Parliament starting on Monday, is expected to be stormy as opposition India block and the BJP -led government prepares to face several issues.The opposition has demanded a discussion on the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindoor, and what they say as “flow” in foreign policy, saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should personally answer these debates.Here we can expect from the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament:Pile of bills The government has listed seven bills for consideration and eight more for introduction, discussion and passage.Among the bills prescribed for the monsoon session:

  • National sports regime bill
  • Geoharitage sites and Jio-Rilix (Protection and Maintenance) Bill
  • Mines and minerals (development and regulation) amendment bills
  • National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill

The government is also expected to introduce the Income Tax Bill, 2025, which was introduced in the Lok Sabha in February and referred to a selection committee.According to the news agency PTI, the Center will also take the approval of Parliament for the expansion of the President’s rule at Manipur and will present a demand for a grant for the state.Other pending bills in the Lok Sabha include:

  • Goa Bill, Re -construction of representation of scheduled tribes in the assembly constituencies of 2024
  • Merchant Shipping Bill, 2024
  • The Indian Ports Bill, 2025
