Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is suffering from a case of food poisoning, as confirmed by his office on Sunday. He is planning to continue his official responsibilities by resting at his residence for the next three days.The 75 -year -old leader experienced the disease during the night, with doctors diagnosed with intestinal inflammation and dehydration. He is currently receiving IV fluid as part of his treatment. “As per the instructions of his doctors, the Prime Minister will rest at home for the next three days and manage the state affairs from there,” his office said.According to the Times of Israel report, his current disease has allegedly postponed the corruption case once again, the next court’s presence has not been set before September.The test was delayed several times since it started in May 2020, as Israeli’s premiere requested postponation, initially fought in Gaza citing war and later in Lebanon.In the first case, Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife, Sara were accused of accepting luxury goods worth more than $ 260,000, including cigars, jewelery and champagne, in exchange for political favor. In two other cases, it has been alleged that he tried to negotiate more favorable coverage in two Israeli media outlets.Prime Minister Netanyahu has denied any wrongdoing.Netanyahu has reduced two important medical procedures in recent years. He received a pacemaker implant in 2023, and last December, surgeons removed their prostate after diagnosis of urinary tract infection.
