EPS and PM Modi are meeting for the first time as AIADMK and BJP have renewed their alliance. The 2026 A meeting was held between the Allies between the War of Words before the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Earlier, EPS denied a coalition government with the BJP and said, “Our alliance will achieve a grand success in 2026. AIADMK will be victorious and will automatically form a government. ,The statement is contradictory with Amit Shah’s interview, where he said that the NDA will form a coalition government under the leadership of AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.Recently, EPS confirmed that his party would form the government with an absolute majority in the upcoming assembly elections. “Stalin claims that the DMK alliance will win 200 seats. Instead, the AIADMK alliance will win in 210 seats. AIADMK will form the government with an absolute majority,” he said. The ruling DMK has attacked AIADMK to revive relations with BJP, saying that the saffron party will swallow EPS. The EPS fired back and replied, “Stalin says that BJP will swallow Palaniswami. Is Palaniswami a insect to swallow by a fish? You are one who swallowed many of your colleagues. Congress has reduced, the communist has disappeared, and VCC is moving around with DMK.”EPS also criticized that AIADMK would be divided by BJP. “Stalin is warning us that AIADMK will break and I should be careful. I would like to tell him that AIADMK will not break,” EPS said.AIADMK and BJP came together for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. AIADMK went out of NDA in 2023, accused Annamalai of insulting his leaders. After the bitter separation, the two sides came together on 11 April.
