Shaolin Temple Head Face Investigation ‘Embezzlement Fund’
Beijing: The famous Shaolin Temple in China announced on Sunday that its mandaries are investigating the project funds and the property of the temple on suspicion of misuse and embezzlement. According to a notice of temple rights on the temple’s own Vathat account, Shi Yonguxin also accused several women of maintaining relations with many women and at least one child by having a serious violation of Buddhist teachings. The notice stated that many departments were conducting a joint investigation against them, and the relevant findings will be declared to the public in the appointed time.The fame of the Sheolin Temple at Henan has gone beyond a religious institution. It is also famous for its martial arts culture, or Kung Fu, referred to in many films and TV plays, including the 1982 film “The Shaolin Temple”.
