345 Park Avenue Shooting: Who is Blackstone Executive killed by Shane Tamura in Midtown Mass Shooting?
An executive of Blackstone is one of the four people who were shot dead by suspected shooter Shane Tamura, who went to a shooting rampage in Midtown on Monday. The Wall Street Journal reported that the executive has not yet been identified and was killed in the lobby of the Park Avenue Office Tower. 27 -year -old Shane Tamura was also found dead at the scene at 345 Park Avenue. An employee told the journal that after the bullets flashed, Blackstone employees shared messages on email and Microsoft teams, warning others about gunmen. Some employees stopped themselves in their offices and bathrooms.

There was speculation about whether Tamura targeted Blackstone, while law enforcement officials said their goal was the National Football League office. Officials said that instead of going to the fifth storey office of NFL in 345 Park Avenue, he chose the wrong lift bank, which took him to Rudin’s office on the 33rd floor.
