India Champions secured an exciting semi -final place at the World Championship of Legends at Grace Road Cricket Ground in Lecester, England. He defeated the West Indies Champions by scoring 145 runs in 14.1 overs. Stuart Binny’s unbeaten 50 and Yusuf Pathan’s match winner six sealed the victory, Pathan celebrated his children emotionally by hugging the border rope.Defending Champion India faced elimination pressure, but showed a brilliant character. After winning the toss, India’s bowling attack dominated quickly, making the West Indies 43/5. Kieron Pollard returned out of 43 balls with a stunning 74, including 8 sixes and 3 fours, which helped to reach the West Indies 144–9.India’s bowlers were impressive. Piyush Chawla was a star, who took 3 wickets for just 18 runs. Varun Aaron and Stuart Binny took two wickets, while Pawan Negi took one.Chase was not a smooth sailing for India. He lost four initial wickets for 52 runs. Then there was a game-changing partnership between Binny and Captain Yuvraj Singh. He added 66 runs in just 27 balls, in which Yuvraj scored 21 runs off 11 balls.After Yuvraj exiting, Yusuf Pathan joined Binny for the final attack. The pair scored 30 runs in only 8 balls. Binny finished with no 50 out of 21 balls, while Pathan did not exclude 21 in 7 balls. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan had scored 25 runs.Despite Dwayne Smith and Dwayne Bravo, taking every two wickets for the West Indies, they could not stop India’s firm charge in the semi -finals.
