Experienced of aristocratic forces and leading military options: Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh took over as the vice -president of the army; Successful Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani

New Delhi: Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh, a highly decorated officer with service of more than 35 years in the Indian Army, took over as the new vice -president of the new army employees on Friday.In December 1987, the 4th Battalion of the Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) was commissioned, Lieutenant General Singh served in several major military operations and played several commands and staff roles during his career.For his outstanding service, he has been awarded the ATI Visht Seva Medal and once for the Army Medal. He succeeds Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani, who retired after a prestigious career extending for 39 years on 31 July.He has commanded a special force unit in the Kashmir Valley and along the Line of Control. He also led an infantry brigade and a mountain division as part of the ‘Operation Snow Leopard’ along the line of real control. His operational experience includes service in major missions such as ‘Operation Pawan’, ‘Operation Meghdoot’, ‘Operation Orchid’ and ‘Operation Rakshak’.In a post on X, the Army said, “Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh appointed Vice Expenses of Army employees today, #Indianarmy’s #Vcoas. He has commanded a core in Himachal Pradesh and is also responsible for looking at the sensitive areas of Jammu, Samba and Pathankot.He has participated in the prestigious Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, Wellington, Wellington at the CDM, Secyandarbad and Advance Professional Program at Public Administration at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) in New Delhi.Lieutenant General Singh has started a master in management studies from Osmania University and a master in philosophy from the University of Punjab.
