He said that Cnergyico may consider buying at least 1 million barrels of American oil in a month after evaluating the first shipment, its current monthly demand is 4.6 million barrels.As the US and Pakistan changed a new chapter in their bilateral relations, Trump announced 19% tariff on Pakistani goods, which was earlier declared – 29%. Pakistan appreciated a trade deal with its top export market, the United States, and said the agreement would increase investment.Reuters reported that oil is Pakistan’s largest import item and its shipment was $ 11.3 billion in the year ended 30 June 2025, accounting for about fifth of the total import bill of the country.
