New Delhi: Amidst the strong claim of the government on the US 25% tariff, the country will protect its interests, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda on Friday angrily reacted to the comments of US President Donald Trump in India, called him the most “unstable, rude and irresponsible” chief in modern history.In a statement, the JD (S) leader said that he was “surprised” with Trump’s “baseless and sick -nature comments” over India and the Indian economy. “I don’t think modern history has seen the head of another state that has been so unstable, rude and irresponsible. Shri Trump has treated not only India, but every other country around the world. He has not spared his colleagues for a long time,” Gowda said.The former Prime Minister said, “India has been the fastest growing economy and is the fifth largest economy in the world,” said the former Prime Minister, “India has been the fastest growing economy. Shri Trump must be either blind or ill to nominate our economy as ‘dead’. ,He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for standing against Trump’s “Badmashi”. “I am very happy and proud that India has not compromised on our national interest under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has not blown up the bullying of Shri Trump and has shown that it will never be decided by danger.”Gowda also reprimanded some opposition leaders, who “rejoiced” in Trump’s statements and “jumped into India to become his seduced spokesperson”.
