The court concluded that the prosecution failed to establish the case beyond a proper suspicion, leading to acquitting the accused, including Pragya Singh Thakur, Major (retired) Ramesh Upadhyay, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Ajay Raheerkar, Sudhankhar Dhar Dwivedi (Shankaracharya), and similar kuli.The court ordered the Maharashtra government to provide compensation to the families of the victims, giving a prize of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured people.The court found no evidence of another accused in this case, stored or gathered at the residence of Prasad Purohit.The court said, “No sketch was done by the investigating officer while doing the Panchnama. There was no finger print, dump data or nothing else.The case is back on September 29, 2008, when an explosive tool for a motorcycle near a mosque in Bhiku Chowk in Malegaon City has exploded in a motorcycle, resulting in six people killed and 95 others injured.
