New Delhi: A police complaint was filed against RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav on Monday in the case of two of his epics. The complaint was filed by Rajiv Ranjan, a lawyer at Digha police station in Patna. No case has been registered yet. This comes after the Election Commission of India issued a notice to Yadav, as it was found that he had allegedly two separate epic numbers.“On verification, it was found that your name is recorded in serial number 416 of polling station number 124 (located in the library building of Bihar Engineering University), and Epic (Electors Photo Identity Card) number is Rab0456228,” ECI said.“However, according to your statement at the press conference, you referred to your epic number as Rab2916120. An preliminary investigation revealed that the epic number Rab2916120 does not officially exist, “said this.Earlier, Yadav had alleged that his epic number had changed and his name was missing from Bihar’s draft election role. However, the Election Commission rejected the claim, stating that it used the same epic number (Rab0456228) in its 2020 enrollment affidavit and his name appears in the draft list in serial number 416.
