India left with ‘No Friends’: Farooq Abdullah on Trump’s 25% tariff; It is now said that close to Pakistan. Bharat News

New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah has expressed concern over India’s declining diplomatic relations after the announcement of 25% tariff on Indian goods by President of India Donald Trump. The President of the National Conference (NC) said that India has been left “no friends” on the global stage and is being isolated. He further claimed that Trump’s administration is heating Pakistan at India’s expense. Abdullah criticized India’s outlook towards his neighbors, warning that the country’s dominance currency could do more harm than good.“We have no friends, even our neighbors are not our friends. What we have tried to do is to show that we are stronger than them, instead of thinking that we all have to live together. That is why Indira Gandhi created a SAARC, which aims to bring all countries closer to us. Abdullah told ANI, “This was to think about economic issues and how to resolve them.He further alleged that the US had become more favorable towards Pakistan, which gave economic benefits by pressuring India.“Suddenly, Trump has become very favorable with Pakistan. They want us not to take Russian oil. Still he promised Pakistan that they will send them raw (oil) and refine it, which will bring down the prices of petrol and diesel. China is already behind them,” he said.Abdullah blamed the economic quarrel including depreciation of the rupee, which he called a problem between the two leaders, Donald Trump and PM Narendra Modi.“It is a problem between the two leaders – Trump and Modi. They are both strong leaders, and that is why they do not want to bow down to each other. The nation is suffering in it. We have 25 percent tariff on our goods going to America, as well as an additional punishment. In this process, the rupee is falling and the dollar is increasing.Meanwhile, Trump indicated that the US is still open to negotiate on the issue of tariffs. In response to an ANI Query, the US President said, “We are talking to him now. We will see what happens. Again, India was the highest or only the highest tariff nation in the world, one of the highest, 100 points, 150 points or percentage. So India was one of the most in the world. They had 175 percent and higher.”The statement came during a press conference at the White House, where Trump signed a Congress bill in the law. He also reiterated that India’s high tariffs were a point of dispute for the US for a long time. After India’s declaration of new tariffs and punishment for the purchase of Russian oil, Trump also took his social media platform Truth Social, “I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, I care for all.”He said, “We have done very little business with India; their tariffs are very high, most in the world,” he said.
