Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Sunday that his government aims to make the state the best on every parameter in the state. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, echoing from the point of view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, confirmed that the third decade of the 21st century would be related to Uttarakhand.“The Prime Minister told Baba Kedar’s land that the third decade of the twenty -first century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. This means that the upcoming 10 years will be the time of prosperity for Uttarakhand. Whatever resolution Uttarakhand takes will be successful.”He said, “Our aim is to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country, and to achieve this objective, as we have always received your blessings, your cooperation and your support, we will continue to get it in the future as well.”Earlier today, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the later residence.Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today also distributed appointment letters to 144 candidates selected for various posts in the Irrigation Department and 43 eligible dependents under the deceased dependent quota in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.Thus, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to the candidates/dependents selected for a total of 187 different posts.Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while wishing the candidates well, appealed to the selected candidates to work with honesty, integrity, transparency and dedication.He said that the state government has also done appointments to the dependents of the deceased employees for a long time. Last year, appointment letters were provided to 150 dependents and today, the remaining 43 eligible dependents. He said that due to the efforts of the state government, the corporation earned a record profit of more than Rs 56 crore in 2024.Earlier, the Chief Minister said that there was a lot of bias, rigging and corruption in the recruitment in the state. In response to the challenges faced by young people, the state government implemented the country’s most stringent anti -copy law. Now, the recruitments in the state are being ensured on the basis of complete transparency and merit so that the eligible candidates can get full benefit of their skills and hard work. He said that in the last 3 and a half years, more than 23,000 youth in the state have secured government jobs.The Chief Minister said that the state government has adopted a zero-oppression policy against corruption and now no one has been spared in cases of corruption. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the countrymen to use indigenous products. He also urged the people of the state to use indigenous and local products. The Chief Minister said that our resolve towards a self -sufficient India should be even stronger. He said that Devbhumi Uttarakhand is committed to realize the mantra of the Prime Minister of a self -sufficient India.The Chief Minister said that selected candidates in the irrigation department prepare maps and designs of irrigation projects, as well as a framework for future development. “Irrigation schemes are being continuously expanded in our state. Today the candidates selected are pillars of irrigation projects, which will work with their technical skills to provide water to the farmers’ fields.”
