The New York City Area Committee train caused panic on Monday.The video taken by nervous passengers jumped from the tracks and filled one of the trains and flames of thick smoke appear, causing rapid extraction.The Blaze broke in the Port Authority Trans-Hadson (Path) train at a east at the newly side of Jersey City, New Jersey at around 6:15 pm. A video taken by a passenger and a video shared online shows people coughing and shouting because the thick smoke filled the train car. Voices can be heard saying, “Open the door” and as “easy, easy”, travelers ran to land.Once on the platform, the video catchs the flames of the bright orange fire that grows from the rail, which reaches the top of the train car.According to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, all passengers were safely evacuated. Thirteen people were treated at the scene to breathe smoke. Nine of them were later taken to the hospital for further evaluation.The incident caused major disruption in Monday morning commut, suspended with several path lines between New York and New Jersey as emergency services responded to the scene.The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Port Authority officials have not yet released much information about what the incident could be triggered.Path trains carry around 165,000 passengers in an average working day, which transport passengers between the northern New Jersey and Manhattan across the Hudson River.
