Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsono was placed under the House arrest by the Supreme Court of the country on Monday as he was prosecuted for allegedly attempting to allevate President Luiz Insio Lula Dr. Silva after his 2022 election loss. The order issued by the Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Mores came after violating the precautionary measures taken by the court earlier. Mores said that the former President had posted material through his son’s social media channels, violating the sanctions imposed by the court, reported the AP.The prosecutors accused a far-flung leader led by a criminal organization, who conspired to keep him in power by force. The allegations include President Lula and a Supreme Court conspiracy to kill justice, alleging that one of the most serious legal challenges has been faced by Marxoro since leaving the post.In his judgment, Justice Mores warned of a “concrete possibility” that Bolsono could try to escape from the country. He also claimed that Bolsono had appealed to the “head of the kingdom of a foreign nation” in an attempt to intervene with the Brazilian judicial system – an Act Mores was described as a violation of national sovereignty. The latest order holds the bolsono under electronic ankle monitoring, limiting visits only to family members and lawyers, and authorizing all mobile phones from his home in Rio de Janeiro. It follows the July 1 decision that had already put curfew on their activities.Bolsono has denied wrongdoing, and the case has attracted international attention. Earlier, US President Donald Trump defended Bolsoro, calling him a victim of politically inspired prosecution.“I have seen that the terrible treatment that is receiving the hands of an unjust system has turned against you. This test should be finished immediately!” Trump has written in a post on truth. The Supreme Court violated the sanctions; Phone seized, visitor ban implemented
