United States Attorney General Palm Bondi on Monday directed its employees to proceed to the Director of National Intelligence with a criminal referral, about the alleged Russia-Trump conspiracy, Fox News Digital said that the Department of Justice is starting a grand jury investigation in the matter.According to a letter reviewed by Fox News Digital and information from a source close to the investigation, Bondi has authorized an anonymous federal prosecutor to initiate legal proceedings. The prosecutor will present evidence to a grand jury, possibly a lead to an indictment.Falling to comment particularly on the investigation, a DOJ spokesperson confirmed that Bondi was treating Gabbard’s referral with great importance.
