Afghanistan on Wednesday announced a 22-member initial squad for the TRAI-Nation T20I series featuring Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, followed by the ACC Men T20 Asia Cup, a significant duration in the preparation of its white-ball cricket.The squad has a strong mixture of experienced international artists and young talent, with Rashid Khan to return to lead the side. The board said in a statement, “The National Selection Committee of the Afghanistan Cricket Board has finalized the 22-member initial squad, which will be ahead of their upcoming Tri-Presidential series and ACC men’s T20 Asia Cup at the two-week training and preparation camp.”
