New Delhi: SCS, a new debate between STS and OBCs can shake, the Supreme Court on Monday agreed to investigate an important issue-should take advantage of quota in government employment and state-operated institutions should be given to those members of the first quota-covered communities for admission to those who are most socially and economically backward. After hearing a brief arguments from advocate Reena Singh, Justice Surya Kant and Joylya Bagchi sought a response from the central government on a joint petition filed by two people, on a joint petition filed by two people. There was a word of caution in SC – it is a sensitive issue that requires careful consideration. Singh said that the petitioners do not want any change in quota percentage for scheduled communities.Justice Kant said that many people from SC, ST and OBC communities were socially and economically advanced by entering the elite categories of government employment through reservation and could provide education and facilities to their children. He said that it was probably the time to consider whether such sections of people should continue the benefit of reservation at the cost of their own community members who are facing poverty and social issues. The work before the bench led by Justice Kant will not be insecure as the decision of the seven-judge bench, written by Justice Bra Gavai, only to become the second member of the Dalit community to become CJI, August 1 was allowed to the sub-inteminated castes for SC communities last year which was based on social-purposement, which was the BOARTRRERSENDS and the Gortrresentation and ther-reprcent ofthrrescentation and ther-resurrent backward. The court had asked the goals to prepare a suitable criteria to bar ‘creamy layer’ between SCS by availing reservation. The petitioners have argued, “Candidates from rich SC, ST and OBC families often protect reserved jobs and seats. Individuals of very poor backgrounds and needy candidates rarely get a chance to get jobs or admissions in government colleges despite reservation policy. It defeats the purpose of social justice and ends inequality within reserved categories.“By incorporating an economic limit within reservation, the policy will align with a broad constitutional mandate to create an egalitarian society. In addition, such reforms will prevent the monopoly of benefits by some privileged people, ensuring that positive action for socio-economic uplift remains a dynamic and effective tool,” he said.
