Watch: 4 crash carrying aircraft at Montana Airport; Large fire layers

Officials said a small aircraft crashed into a parked aircraft on Monday, landing at a Montana airport, causing a major fire, but no serious injuries.Single-Engine Socata TBM 700 Turboprop aircraft, carrying four people, Kalispel Police Chief Jordan Venezio and Federal Aviation Administration were trying to land at Kalispel City Airport at around 2.00 pm, ABC News report. The landing aircraft allegedly hit another aircraft on the ground, causing a fire that spread to the grass area before extinguishing. Venezio said that many aircraft were affected. The witnesses reported to see the approach of an aircraft from the south, crashed into the end of the runway, and another aircraft, said Kalispel Fire Head Jegan.The landing aircraft caught fire, but the pilot and three passengers were able to get out on their own after stopping, Hegan said, both passengers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the airport. The small town owned airport is located south of Kalispel, the city of North-Western Montana of around 30,000 inhabitants.The FAA records suggest that the aircraft was built in 2011 and is owned by Washington’s Pulman’s Meter Sky LLC. According to ABC News reports, Jeff Guzetti, a former crash investigator for both FAA and NTSB, said that the confrontation between landing aircraft and parked aircraft occurs a few times a year in general aviation, ABC News reports.
