Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski on Tuesday rejected the idea of leaving Russia Donbas to the eastern region Donbas. He warned that leaving the region would pave the way for Russian President Vladimir Putin to “start a third war” in Ukraine.Zelansky’s warning is ahead of Putin’s meeting with US President Donald Trump in Alaska on Friday, where the Russian President is expected to demand Ukrainian land as part of a peace deal. He also warned that Russia is building soldiers for a new aggressive, which can be launched by September.“For Russians, Donbas is a springboard for future new aggressive. If we leave Donbas under our own agreement or pressure, we will launch the third war,” Zelancesi said in a meeting with journalists, recalling its full -scale invasion in Russia’s Crimea in 2014 and its complete scale in 2022. He stressed that Ukraine’s defensive situation in the region and strategic areas were important for its safety.“I am not going to surrender to my country because I have no right to do so,” he said. “If we leave Donbas today, then our fortifications, our territory, we will clearly open a bridge for the preparation of a Russian aggressive.”The Ukrainian leader also expressed concern over the reports that Putin could demand a return from Donbas to Ukrainian as part of a ceasefire proposal. “I have not heard anything – there is not a single offer that will guarantee that a new war will not begin tomorrow and Putin will not try to capture at least DNIPRO, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv,” he said.Zelansky said that any exchange of regions should be linked to Ukraine, its sovereignty and security guarantee for its people. He insisted that the role of the European Union is important in peace talks. The Ukrainian President also confirmed that Ukraine, America and European leaders would talk on Wednesday.Trump has indicated that Zelancesi would not attend Friday’s summit, but said he planned to abbreviate Kiev and European leaders after the meeting. Trump stated that his final goal is to bring Putin and Zelanceci together for direct talks, assuming that they can only find a way to end the war, possibly through some forms of “exchange of land”.“I’m not going to do a deal,” said Trump. “It’s not to make a deal to me. I think a deal should be done for both.”The White House described the ankrage meeting as “the practice of listening” to better understand Russia’s attitude, given that only one side for the conflict would be present.“Only one party involved in this war is going to be present in this war, and so it is to go and regain the President, again, again, a more firm and better understanding of how we can end this war.” Zelancesi also mentioned the recent diplomatic exchange, including a meeting of American Special Envoy Steve Vitkoff with Putin. According to Zelancesi, Vitkoff reported that the two sides could consider regional concessions, although the Ukrainian President rejected the idea and said he does not believe that the demands of Putin reflect the status of Washington. He said, “I don’t believe that Putin’s proposal is Trump’s proposal.
