Rajasthan High Court asked civil bodies to remove stray animals from all public places

Jodhpur: The Rajasthan High Court has asked the municipal authorities to remove all the state -wide stray dogs, cattle and other animals from public places to ensure that they have not been harmed during transfer.On Monday, coincidence with the Supreme Court order, flock stray dogs came on a Soo Motu petition to roam in the nominated shelters on the streets of Delhi-NCR, exposing frequent examples of struggles and accidents triggered by stray dogs and cattle, which were receiving an independent run on highways, roads and streets across the state.Justice Kuldeep Mathur and Ravi Chirania’s Division Bench put on civil officials to frame the strategies for the drive, including processes to make shelter for stress, hand over the cattle to their owners, and initiate action against those obstructing their efforts.The municipalities are authorized to register an FIR against those who execute the orders that execute the employees of the government. The bench said that strict law enforcement was mandatory to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain public system.The judges sought a detailed report on the status and maintenance of the dog shelter and Gaushalus managed by all municipal bodies before the next hearing, scheduled for 8 September.
