New Delhi: Nine IAF fighter pilots, four soldiers and two BSF personnel have been awarded the country’s third largest war -time bravery medal for his role in Operation Sindoor, under which India operated a deep border cross -border strike against terrorist hubs and military establishments in Pakistan.Operation Sindore was a major topic of 127 valor medals and 40 prestigious service awards.

Operation Sindore was the main subject of 127 valor medals and 40 prestigious service awards approved by the President in the award list for 79th Independence Day.These included four Kirti Chakra, which included the country’s second largest pattime valor medal, 15 heroic chakra, 16 Shaurya Chakra, 58 Army Medal, Six Nao Army Medal, Seven Sarvotam Yudh Seva Medal (SYSMS), nine Uttam Yudh CEVA Medals, 24 Yudh CEVA Medals, 24 Yudh CEVA MEDALS, 24 Yudh CEVA MEDALS, 24 Yudh Ceva Medals Mention-in-Deepo.Veer Chakras were honored with IAF officials, group captain Ranjit Singh Sidhu, Manish Arora, Animesh Patni and Kunal Kalra, Wing Commander Joy Chandra, Squadron leader Sarathak Kumar, Sidtant Singh and Rizwan Malik, and flight lieutenant Arashveer Singh Thkar.While the Army Award winners were Colonel Koshank Lamba, Lieutenant Colonalsushal Bisht, Naib Subeder Satish Kumar and Rifleman Sunil Kumar, BSF people were sub-enthusiasts Mohd Imtayes and Constable Deepak Chingakham, which escaped from the highly-sensitive weeds against Jamu.SYSMS, the highest war -time prestigious service decoration which has been honored only a few times in the past, was honored to seven top military officers who planned and executed Operation Sindor. He was Lieutenant-Jen Pratik Sharma (Northern Army Command Chief), Lieutenant-Jen Rajiv Gai (DGMO), Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh (then Western Navy Command Chief), Air Marshal Narmadeshwar Tiwari (IAF Vice Chief), Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor (Western Air Command Kapoor), Air Command (Western Air Command Kapoor), Marm Command Kapoor (Western Air Command Kapoor), Bharti (Director General of Air Operations).Twenty-six IAF officers and Air Warriors were awarded the Vayu Army Medal, most of them to interrupt the missiles and waves of the S-400 surface-to-air missile and other air defense systems for managing and operating their role.
