H -1B hiring: Tech companies accused of bowling rules with newspaper job listing

A report claims that tech companies are bending the rules to rent H-1B.

Amid large -scale pruning from major technical companies, companies are now accused of bending the rules of hiring in local newspaper advertisements that they are mandatory to advertise before hiring them. While the rules say that these roles are to be advertised for American-birth workers, a newsweek report claimed that companies are clearly targeting immigrants as candidates are asked to send resumes to immigration or “global mobility” departments.

‘Companies are regularly discriminating against Americans’

Jobs. Now, a website that demands H-1B roles to share them with Americans, told Newsweek that Americans do not even know that major technical companies are regularly discriminating against them. “At a time when unemployment for college graduates is rapidly moving upwards, it is important to keep the Americans unemployed,” he said. Jobs. Now also said that the standard recruitment process of recruitment companies for these roles is done separately. He said, “These abnormal application methods are likely to drive less applications than general procedures such as posting advertisements on the company job board or mainstream career sites like LinkedIn,” he said. The newsweek report cited the San Francisco Chronicle Advertisement given by Openai. It said that it was hiring a software engineer, but the resume was to be sent to the “Global Mobili Team”. Another technical company, the Instcard offered several positions, with an application with a similar department, while an online learning platform wanted a director of Udmi, Marketing Analytics and Data Science, in which resumes were sent to “[email protected]”, said the newsweight report. H-1B is at the center of a major line in the US job market, with Maga activists convicted the visa program for unemployment of American youth. H-1B allows American companies to appoint foreign talent, but companies also hire H-1B for entry level positions, so that they have to pay less wages to foreigners than American standard. The Trump administration is planning a major H -1B overhaul in favor of American graduates.
