‘Accept till date’: The US embassy in India has warned against the overseas, telling how it can happen

The US embassy in India issued a new warning to Indians against overseasing in the US and explained the difference between the termination of ‘entry up to the date’ and the end of the visa date. “The authorized period of your stay is ‘entry up to the date’ on your I-94, not your U.S. Visa End Date. Living in the United States beyond its authorized date is called “overstay” and as a result can be disqualified for visa cancellation, potential exile and future visas, “the embassy said.
What is ‘entry up to date’?
This is the date mentioned on the I-94 (arrival/departure record) that is released by US customs and border security. It is not written on the visa. If you enter the US on a visa with a certain period (eg B-1/B-2 visitor visa, F-1 students, or H-1B workers), accept until the date will usually have a specific calendar date. You should either leave America, expand your migration, or change the situation that should be done to remain in a valid position. In some cases (such as many F -1 student visa or J -1 exchange visitor), I -94 may be called “D/S” (duration of status) instead of a date. This means that as long as you maintain your student or exchange status, you are admitted, not until a specific day.
Visa expiry date
The ‘entry up to date’ is different from the visa expiry date, which is sealing the passport. This is the last day that can use a visa to enter the United States. It does not control how long you can stay inside the US after already enter. If someone describes the date mentioned on the I-94 document as ‘entry up to the date’, they are out of the situation, even if their visa is not finished. While the visa expiry date shows the deadline of entering the US, ‘Aaj Tak Admission’ is the deadline for living in the US.
