Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski on Tuesday addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the “peace letter”, while addressing the kidnapping of Ukrainian children for the American first woman Melania Trump.Zelansky said the kidnapping exposed one of the most “painful and difficult issues” of struggle and confirmed his commitment to the prisoners of the war “all” to all “exchanges”.Zelancesi said through a post on X, “I want to thank @Flotus Melania Trump for focusing on one of the most painful and difficult issues of this war, kidnapping Ukrainian children by Russia. We appreciate his compassion and Putin in depth of his letter.”‘This issue lies in the center of the human tragedy of war, our children, broken families, the center of isolation pain. Zelansky said at least 20,000 children were taken.“His (Melania’s) voice matters, and his care gives strength for this reason,” Zelancesi said.The Ukrainian President said that the government continued the return of the children as well as the efforts to secure the return of the citizens in Russia. Some of those prisoners, they noted, have been imprisoned since 2014.“Thousands still need to be freed-and it is a part of peace. We will work to interact for all prisoners of war exchange, and we are grateful to strong friends who help,” Zelansky said.On Tuesday, Trump’s comments came after Trump said that he and European Commission Chairman Ursula von Der Leyen discussed “a large -scale problem of missing children worldwide”. Trump described the issue as a priority and said that efforts would be made to reconcile children with their families.“Ursula von Der Leyen, the prestigious and highly respected president of the European Commission, and I am discussing the problem of the huge worldwide missing children. Similarly, it is a big topic with my wife, Melania. It is a subject at the top of all lists, and the world will work together to solve it, hopefully he will bring them home!” Trump said through a position on truth social.Melania Trump wrote a letter addressed to Putin on August 15 and urged them to act for the safety of Ukrainian children, saying that he could restore his laughter and protect his innocence.“Such a bold idea crosses all human divisions, and you, Mr. Putin, today fit to apply this vision with a stroke of the pen,” read the letter. “The time has come.”Zelansky’s talks with the US President came out shortly after Trump’s meeting Putin in the weekend. European leaders also gathered in Washington to express solidarity with Ukraine and pressed to increase the safety guarantee in the post -war structure.The contestants included Trump, Zelanski, UK Prime Minister Kir Stmper, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, German Chancellor Frederick Merz, Finnish President Alexander Stub, NATO General Secretary Mark Rute and Ursula Von Der Leyen.
