Under India Watch, no IOR can be ‘Bully’: Rajnath Singh | Bharat News

New Delhi: The Indian Navy ensures that no nation in the Indian Ocean region (IOR) suppresses another with its “heavy” military and economic strength, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said against the backdrop of Chinese’s constant strategic forces. India aims to develop the IOR as a “symbol of brotherhood and shared interests”, with its Navy ensuring free navigation, rules-based orders, peace and stability in shared commitment for peace and stability, with ensuring safety of both Indian and foreign ships, Singh said, Maden Indian Mahasa Ship (IOS) Sagar ‘from Karva Naval Base in Nestle Karna.
Under this, a joint party of Indian sailors and 44 personnel of nine foreign countries (Komoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Tanzania) have been in the upper patrolist’s pot since April 5 during their deployment for southwest IOR.
Addressing the representatives of the participating nations, Singh launched the launch of the iOS Sagar as a reflection of India’s commitment for peace, prosperity and collective security in the piracy. Pointing to India’s growing presence in the Ior, he said, “This is not only related to our security and national interests, but also enhances the safety of friendly nations. Our Navy ensures that, in the IO, no nation suppresses the other on a heavy economy and military power.
Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh’s Tripathi and Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, the minister also inaugurated modern operations, repair and logistic facilities manufactured under Project Cabers of more than Rs 2,000 crore at Karwar Naval Base.
Addressing top naval commanders after reviewing Marine security The situation and operational readiness, Singh, said that it is necessary to resume the future roles of the armed forces amidst the “current unexpected” geo -political landscape. He said, “It is our responsibility to ensure peace and prosperity in Indo-Pacific as this region has become a focal point for the world.” Emphasizing that national security is most important for the Modi government, Singh said that the government has always ensured that the requirements of the armed forces have been fulfilled.
