‘A positive evaluation deserves’: Russia Armenia-Azerbaijan welcomes the peace deal; Expectations for stability in Caucasus

Russia described the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan as “positive” and hoped that it would contribute to stability in the unstable South Caucasus region, which is the boundary of the Russian region.Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova quoted the news agency AFP on Saturday, “The meeting of leaders of South Caucasus republics in Washington, arbitration by the American side, deserved to a positive evaluation.
