Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitare Zameen Paar has officially approved the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) a few days before its dramatic release on Friday, June 20, 2025. According to the latest reports of Bollywood Hungama, the film allegedly received a green signal to release the film on its scheduled date. The announcement has come after the report that it has been claimed that the film’s release will stop on certification issues. Unconfirmed reports also claimed that the objections to cut some cuts in Khan’s film were a possible cause of delay. If there is any truth for claims, it is not clear how a consensus eventually reached.Sitare Zamin Paar has provided Aamir’s facility unlike Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles. The film introduces 10 newcomers – Aros Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahni, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.The direction is described as an emotional and inspirational drama that mixes the heart -touching story with a strong message. A special screening of the film was held for a few select some groups that were before release about a week ago. In screening, Aamir, who first arrived at the theater to the audience’s response, was given a permanent ovation.According to the video of the incident, while some thought that the film was ‘deeply ahead’ with sensitive depiction of children with special needs, others believed that the film would be “Down syndrome and perceptions towards autistic people.”
