‘Absolute Lies’: Congress government slam the government to deny communication on all-party delegation names

New Delhi: Congress on Monday denied Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s claim that parties were not asked to nominate for MPs. All-a-party delegation Operation of India as part of Sindoor Global Outreach. The party rejected the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, called it a “full lie”.This Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju rejected the Congress’s charge that the government had asked the opposition party to nominate four MPs for all party delegations, only three of them to reject three of them.Congress leader Jeram Ramesh Repeated the party’s position, stating that Rijiju interacted with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Rahul Gandhi on the morning of 16 May, after which four names were proposed by the party.Ramesh said, “This is a lie – a lie – a complete lie. On the morning of 16 May, he had a conversation with Congress President and Mr. Rahul Gandhi and after that conversation, later Mr. Rijiju suggested four names,” Ramesh said.He said, “At any point the Modi government did not expand the etiquette to the Congress to say this,” These are the four names that we have chosen. What do you have to say about them? ” He said.Ramesh also criticized Rijiju for commenting on the internal mobility of the Congress, saying, “There is no question of internal mobility. In 2008, Dr. Manmohan Singh and his advisors consulted all political parties – how the delegation was formed.“We cannot have one legend outside and the other. What messages are we sending from India? A nationalism is based on prejudice, bigotry, hatred, poison and communal stresses – is this the image we want to project for the world?” He questioned.Earlier, Rijiju claimed that Kharge and Gandhi were informed about the delegation only as a case of etiquette and said that it was never a standard practice that parties should be asked to recommend candidates.“We informed them out of manners purely,” Rijiju said.He said, “We are surprised to protest against the inclusion of our own members like Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tiwari.The Congress had claimed that the government had requested to present the names of four leaders for all party representatives being sent abroad to clarify India’s stance on Pakistan -backed terrorism. The party nominated Anand Sharma, Gaurav Gogoi, Syed Naseer Hussain and Amarinder Singh Raja.However, only Anand Sharma was included in the final list of seven delegations visiting various countries.These delegations have been assigned to meet 51 political leaders, MPs and former ministers of various parties, especially in the context of Operation Sindoor, to present India’s strong position against terrorism.The delegation will be led by Bajayant Panda and Ravi Shankar Prasad (both BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (Jadu), Srikanth Shinde (Shiv Sena), Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Kanmanzi (DMK), and Superia Sule (NCP-Spai). He is about to visit Brussels, 32 countries in Belgium and the European Union Headquarters.Each delegation consists of seven to eight political leaders and supported by former diplomats. Out of 51 leaders, 31 ruling NDA represent the alliance, while 20 are from non-NDA parties.
