Abu Dhabi welcomed the UAE’s first free Copp workshop and welcomed world news in August with dance, vocals, video training

Abu Dhabi is ready to welcome a major cultural: open a free ke-pop workshop for youth, adults and children. Spread over three days in August, the C-Pop Academy X DIMA Dream School will provide training, vocals and hand training in video construction, distributed directly by Korean industry professionals, including professors and student artists of one of the top media institutions in South Korea.
First for UAE: K-Pop Academy comes to Abu Dhabi
The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) is bringing the UAE’s first official Copp training workshop to Abu Dhabi. The schedule will be hosted in the de studio from 20 to 22 August, which will temporarily convert to a full-fledged Academy. The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of KCC to expand the Korean cultural engagement in the region.Registration link The milestone is being organized in collaboration with a prestigious Media Training School in South Korea, Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA). The DIMA is known to train several successful ke-pap stars, including Sung Hanbin (Zerobesone), Hoshi (seventeen), and Quon Iunbi. Abu Dhabi’s first official visit to the workshop has also been marked, making it a rare opportunity for local fans and aspiring of artists to experience training methods behind Korea’s global Pop culture event.
Three day program designed for all ages
“K-Pop Academy X DIMA Dream School” is free to participate fully and is designed keeping in mind access and engagement. Each of the three days focuses on a specific age group, youth, adults and children, which allows for an analog sessions that encourage participants to learn and express themselves within a trusted colleague environment. This session adds a creative turn by incorporating the insight of the back and forth in the ke-pap video content, not only the performance, not only the performance. Unlike casual dance classes or fan gatherings, the workshop reflects the structure of real caps training camps. The sessions will be led by DIMA professors and student artists, who are actively involved in South Korea’s entertainment education scene. Participants will not just copy dance routines, they will receive choreography, vocal displays and even structured instructions in media production, echoing the experiences of real ke-pop trainees. Specially displayed music selection includes tracks of prominent artists like BTS, Blackpink, and New Zains, as well as the original songs of Netflix animated film K-Pop Danav Hunters:
