Ahmedabad aircraft accident: Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air India, told about taking “Deep Sorro” on a 242 ship about the Boeing 787-8 aircraft accident, accepted it as a challenging period for the entire Air India team.The aircraft fixed for London, crashed soon after departing from Ahmedabad Airport on Thursday afternoon.In her video address, Wilson confirmed that the airline was collaborating on the emergency response initiative with the authorities.Wilson said, “First and most importantly, I would like to express my deep grief about this incident. The incident resulted in many casualties.Passengers included 169 Indian citizens, 53 British citizens, seven Portuguese citizens and a Canadian national, a total of 230 passengers.The head of Air India said, “The injured passengers have been taken to the nearest hospitals by local authorities. We have set up a special helpline that can reach us on friends and family,” he mentioned, seeing that the team is currently providing continuous assistance to the passengers, crews, their families and investigators.
