Air India Plain Crash: Government says that formal inquiry was launched; Expert panel formation to investigate the event. Bharat News

New Delhi: Hours after Air India aircraft crashed in Ahmedabad, the government has quickly shifted to start a formal investigation, as has been announced by Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau of Investigation (AAIB) has been tasked to lead the investigation, following the International Protocol established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). “After the tragic incident in Ahmedabad, a formal inquiry has been launched by the Bureau of the Aircraft Accident Investigation (AAIB),” Naidu said.In addition to the investigation of AAIB, a high-level committee is being formed. This committee will include experts from various subjects, who will bring a treasure of knowledge and experience together to completely examine the circumstances around the event. Additionally, the government is constituted a high-level committee involving experts of several subjects to investigate the matter in detail. The Civil Aviation Minister added to his statement.Air India flight to London crashed immediately after the take-off from Ahmedabad, causing a residential quarter of the doctors of the Bij Medical College in the Meghaninagar area. The aircraft lost control during its initial climb, resulting in significant damage to a hostel building. Emergency services immediately responded to the site, participated in the victims and assessed the range of destruction. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
