Mumbai/New Delhi: After a public backlash on a video showing the officials of Air India SAT, partying in their Gurugram office immediately after Air India Flight 171 Crash on 12 June, the Tata group has taken disciplinary action against many people.Four senior officials were suspended from Air India sets, while several others were issued a warning, the company said on Friday.The video, viewed more than 3.8 million times on X, caught several officials dancing with loud music during a celebration at the Gurugram campus of Air India Sats on 20 June. The ceremony was widely criticized as the improper and incompatible of the festival, especially the affected families were still mourned.On June 12, the AI-171 accident resulted in the number of casualties on the ground, except for all crew members and passengers.A spokesman for the company said, “Air India recently repeatedly regretted the default in the decision reflected in an internal video.” “Behavior does not align with our values, and strong disciplinary action has been taken against those responsible.”
