New Delhi: On Sunday, Akali Councilor Harjinder Singh Bahman was shot dead by unknown assailants in Amritsar, Punjab. The victim’s brother and brother -in -law alleged that the attacker was the same person who had earlier fired shots at Harjinder’s residence and issued threats to him. Punjab Police ADCP Harpal Singh Randhwa said, “When Harjinder Singh was on his way, the motorcycle carrying three to four persons approached and set them on fire. He died due to his injuries on the way to the hospital.”He said, “According to his brother and brother -in -law, the attacker was the same person who had earlier set fire to his residence and issued him threatening.”
