Alaska Summit: Our first visit to Putin since 2015

The meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday with President Trump in Alaska on Friday was a former visit to the United States in a decade. Putin’s last visit was in 2015, for the United Nations General Assembly in New York. At the gathering, he faced with President Barack Obama, with duality speeches in the morning and a stressful meeting at night.Putin’s address for the assembly was a disregard in which he supported the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad and dismissed the western condemnation of Russia’s creamia.Obama gave a tremendous warning to allow Assad to leave power and violate Ukraine’s sovereignty. That evening, the two leaders joined a hand before entering a security council counseling room for a private meeting. The relationship between the two was so full of the days that neither the side had demanded a meeting for the first time, and it concluded with some resolutions.Prior to the United Nations meeting, Putin’s last visit to America was far more comfort. In the summer of 2007, President George W. Bush invited him to the coastal campus of Bush family in Kenabankport, Main. Both people rode a “full explosion” speedboat ride with former President George Bush – a visit that “loved” Putin and his interpreter showed to find “nerve -wracking”, “Bush later narrated. The journey was an attempt to smooth some differences between Russian and American leaders, including Iran’s nuclear program and American plans for a missile defense system in Poland and Czech Republic. “We had a good, accidental discussion,” Bush said. Two former American presidents also saw Putin again in the only catch of the day to fish the Russian leader. NYT
