New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah informed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that three terrorists involved in the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April were killed in a joint operation by security forces a day earlier.“I want to tell the people of the house and the country that the people who kill our people in the Besaran Valley (in Pahgam) … all three terrorists are killed,” Shah said during a debate in the Lok Sabha on the Pahgam attack and later in the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor.He said, “In a joint operation Mahadev, the Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu -Kashmir Police have neutralized three terrorists who were involved in the Pahgam terror attack,” he said.Shah also said that the three were Suleman alias Faizal, Afghan and Jibran. “In Operation Mahadev, Suleman alias Faizal, Afghan and Gibran, these three terrorists were killed. Suleman was the commander of a-Tabiba-e-Tabiba.He said that security forces were instructed to ensure that the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack were not escaping the country.

Regarding the investigation process, Amit Shah said, “As part of the investigation, the team was engaged with the family members of the victims, tourists, pony operators, photographers and local residents. In total, 1,055 persons were questioned over a period of more than three hours. Based on the input collected, the overall sketches were prepared. Subsequently, on 22 June, two persons – Bashir and Parvez – were identified as those who harassed the terrorists.,He said that those who had supplied food to the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack were first detained. “All three terrorists – Suleman, Afghan and Gibran were killed in yesterday’s operation. Those who supplied food to them were first detained.
