Indian-origin Anjali Sood has been selected for the Harvard Board.

Indian-American CEO Anjali Sood, Indian-American CEO of streaming platform Tubi, has been selected for the Board of Overers of Harvard University. She will fill the vacancy left by Mark Carney, who ventured from the Harvard Board on 9 March after being elected as the leader of the Liberal Party. The election comes at a time when Harvard Donald is in a crossfier with the Trump administration as the university refused to follow the demand of the administration and now the risk of losing its international student exchange program. As part of the administration’s action on international students involved in campus violence, protests, etc., the administration demanded a record of foreign students in the last five years. As the university refused to comply, the administration canceled its international student exchange programs. The university filed a case against the administration and received a temporary migration on the ban on international programs. Another Indian -origin student Sanjay Seth has been selected as one of the directors of the Harvard Alumni Association. SUD will assume his position on the Board of Overrs on May 30, while Seth will start his three -year term with the HAA board on 1 July.
