New Delhi: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a revival on Monday Foreign nationals of india (OCI) Portal to improve the national capital here Digital experience for OCI card holders, The launch is an important step in the government’s efforts to modernize civil services for Indian migrants. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), a new portal has been developed in response to rapid technological progress in the last decade and there is a response from the existing OCI card holders about issues with the previous system. “Union Home Minister Amit Shah today launched the new foreign national (OCI) portal of India in New Delhi. In the last decade, a new OCI portal has been developed to address the existing shortcomings and to increase the user experience,” MHA said in a statement to address the existing deficiencies, address existing deficiencies and increase the user experience. Officials said the revised platform addresses existing deficiencies and is designed to offer more user -friendly, efficient and easy interfaces for individuals living abroad. The OCI card is issued to people of Indian origin who have gained citizenship in another country, allowing them to travel a lifetime visa-free travel in India and some economic and educational rights. Over the years, the demand for better digital services and more responsible systems has increased globally with an increasing number of OCI holders. With this launch, the Ministry of Home Affairs continued its push towards a digitally strong governance structure, especially for Indians living abroad.
