This will help exploit the capacity of giant databases with MAC and Geographical Information System (GIS) services.Unveiling the future roadmap for security establishment, Shah emphasized the need to integrate other important databases placed with various central agencies in various silos on a platform on Friday, to take advantage of advanced data analytics. The system, Shah is underlined, will enhance the quality of data analytics generated on the MAC network, which will enable accurate trend analysis, hotspot mapping and timeline analysis to give forecast and operating results. He said, “The new Mac will go a long way to combat terrorist ecosystems with a complex relationship with organized crime,” he said.Shah is actively guiding the technological upgradation of Mac, which was established in 2001. The new Mac follows qualitative and quantitative changes at a cost of more than Rs 500 crore. It is woven in the country’s island regions, extrem-influential areas and high altitude areas, while a sharp and standalone ensures final-mile connectivity to district levels with a secure network.
