What is auscular necrosis?

Avskular necrosis (AVN), which is also known as osteionicrosis (not to be confused with osteoporosis) or also known as bone domination, is a serious medical condition where bone tissue dies because it does not have enough blood supply. Without blood, bone cells lose oxygen and nutrients, which weakens the bone and eventually fall. This condition often affects the ends of long bones, especially the hip (femur), but it can also affect the shoulders, knee, ankle and other joints.

How does it affect people

First of all, auskular necrosis may not cause any symptoms. Many people do not feel pain in the early stages because bone damage is still in a newborn state. However, as the situation moves forward and bone starts collapsing, the symptoms become more pronounced and painful.

what are the symptoms

Joint pain: The most common signs are pain in affected joints. For example, if the hip is affected, the pain can be felt in the waist, thigh, or buttock. Initially, pain can only occur when weighing on the joint, such as walking or standing. Over time, the pain can be constant and severe, even when resting or lying down.Limited movement: Bone and joint surface develops as a low range of hardness and speed. This can make it difficult to move the joint independently.Logra or difficulty in losing weight: When hips or knees are affected, people can put weight on the leg or be difficult.

What is the cause of auskular necrosis

Auscular necrosis occurs when blood flow in a bone is disrupted or reduced. Blood vessels carry oxygen and nutrients required for bone health. When these ships are damaged or blocked, bone tissue starts dying.

Common reasons include:

Injury or trauma: A fracture or dislocation near a joint can damage blood vessels, cutting the blood supply to the bone. For example, a broken hip or a disorganized shoulder may be AVN.Use of excessive alcohol: Drinking too much alcohol can cause fatty accumulation in blood vessels, which blocks the blood flow to the bones.Use of some drugs: High doses of steroids (corticosteroids) are associated with AVN. These drugs can affect blood flow and bone health.Medical condition: Diseases such as sickle cell anemia, gauchar disease, or blood clot disorders can reduce blood flow to bones.

Unknown reasons: Sometimes AVN develops without a clear cause, possibly due to a combination of genetic factors and lifestyle.

Which bones are the most affected

The most common site for auskular necrosis is Uru head, thigh bone -shaped top that fits into the hip socket. Because hip is very part of body weight, AVN can cause significant pain and disability here.Other bones affected include:Humaras (upper arm bone) near the shoulder.knee joint.Ankle bones.Jaw bone (rarely). In some cases, AVN affects both sides of the body, such as both hips or both knees.

Who is at risk

Aksgular necrosis affects adults the most between 30 and 50 years of age. Men are affected more often than women. People with bone injuries, heavy alcohol use or long -term steroids use history are at high risk.
